The IUFRO Special Programme for Development of Capacities is offering a limited number of sponsorships for Scientific Visits (SV) to forest research institutions overseas during 2025–2026.
This unique opportunity is designed to:
- Build lasting research collaborations
- Strengthen scientific skills and capacity
- Support the development of research
- Open doors to publishing opportunities
Who Can Apply? Early-career scientists (age 35 or younger) who:
- Have completed an MSc or PhD in forestry or related fields
- Are affiliated with an IUFRO member organization
- Work and reside in an economically disadvantaged country
