The Contribution of Forests to Ghana’s Economic Development

OBJECTIVE

The overall goal of the conference is to highlight how the forests and savannah woodlands have impacted on livelihoods, environmental management and economic development in the country and the expected future contribution in the light of current challenges.  Specific sub themes to be covered include: Forests and Climate Change; Forests, Livelihood and Poverty Alleviation; Forest Policy, Governance and Education; Forest Products Utilization and Trade; and Natural Forest and Plantation Management.

REGISTRATION
Deadline for registration to participate in the conference is 31st July, 2014.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Please send your abstract of not more than 350 words by 30th April, 2014 to the following:

Abstracts should include: Full names, addresses of authors, and email address of corresponding author. Abstracts should relate to one of the subthemes of the conference.  Authors should indicate whether they prefer either oral or poster presentation.
