IUFRO’s Special Programme for Development of Capacities (SPDC) in collaboration with the World Resources Institute is organizing a 3-day training workshop on science-policy interactions for forest and landscape restoration in conjunction with the World Forestry Congress

Early and mid-career scientists, educators and professionals involved in forest and landscape restoration from developing countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America are encouraged to submit their expression of interest for participating in this workshop. Please submit your interest by writing an email to spdc@iufro.org with the subject line: “IUFRO-SPDC Training Workshop, Durban, South Africa”. In addition, please indicate your full name, affiliation, current position, country, gender and age. Deadline for submissions: 15 June, 2015.
